Resident. Locally very common in Wales, northern
England and Scotland.
Montgomeryshire Status
First recorded in 2011 in the north of the county. This is a moorland
species so may well be overlooked.

Other Phyllonorycter species, care should be taken.

Leaf miner. Eggs laid on underside of leaves. Larva mines the complete
leaf, drawing the edges of the leaf downwards. Pupates within the mine. |
